WHY GO DIGITAL?

VIP Video is among the leaders in video production for dance studio. We use the latest technology to capture your performances and bring them to your living room or mobile devices, all while creating the highest quality product and service we can deliver. 

Over the last decade or so, DVDs have been the standard media to deliver video to our customers. Over the last two years, the demand for online visibility and viewing has dramatically increased and supplanted DVDs as the standard. 

DVDs, like cassette tapes and 8-tracks, are becoming extinct and video production giants such as Sony, Apple, etc. have eliminated production of its DVD products and accessories. Why is this important? It should alert you as a consumer to switch to online storage (iCloud) to preserve your videos. Finding a company that will convert your DVDs to files supported online will become as difficult as reel to reel conversion was to DVDs. 

VIP has contracted MediaZilla to house its online content. Below you will find a discounted rate to receive an online subscription with benefits that far outweigh the benefits of a DVD.

WHO IS MEDIAZILLA?

MediaZilla provides the best way to watch online content on a TV, through the use of its native apps. It currently has an Apple TV app and will be releasing apps for more devices in the near future. You can also use Google Chromecast and similar devices to mirror the browser from your computer, laptop or other synced device. The app experience is amazing though... far superior to USB, web browsers, and discs.

Once content has been delivered through an email sent to you by VIP Video, viewers take possession of it in their own free account, and can access it from a web browser or through the free MediaZilla App, providing a premium viewing experience.

DIGITAL DELIVERY vs. DVD

DVD and Blu-ray brought about important changes to how content was previously accessed. With the advent of fast internet connectivity, social media and mobile devices, DVD and Blu-ray lack core functionality to meet the demands of today's users. MediaZilla has bridged the gap between the physical media world (DVDs) and the online content world without sacrificing functionality or quality. In fact, online content allows you to watch your child's performance in 1080p, while DVDs can only support 480p. The quality of the video is more sharp. In addition, using MediaZilla to store your videos in the cloud is the best way to keep it safe for generations to come as physical media quickly deteriorates and is easily lost or damaged.

HOW IT WORKS

The Digital Delivery url is a one-time use link so you cannot pass it around to others. Once the link has been used to create an account, subsequent uses of the link will take you directly to the video or collection it references. The content is private and you will be given authorization and a password to access, keeping the performances safe from public viewing. Only those who have the content in their account can view it. Recipients of the Digital Delivery are not able to share private content with others. VIP is offering a package to the Art of the Dance Centre next year so you will be able to share the performance with your friends and loved ones.
